Your Home and Garden – Can’t Live Without
From the August Issue of Your Home & Garden, I was super grateful to have a little write up about all of the things that inspire and make me tick.
1946 Femme assist by Pablo Picasso. I am so drawn to the graphic lines and jewel tones in this painting pretty much my dream colour palette. Kelly Wearstler As a creative, I love the way she plays with texture and scale and has an amazing way of telling stories through design. My copy of Evocative Style is well loved and often referenced when wanting to celebrate the atypical and unexpected. 1980’s teardrop travertine marble table I bought this beautiful table at auction in anticipation of our long – awaited renovation. After 16 years, we’re just about to launch into it. It’s more beautiful than I imagined, and I cannot wait for it to take pride of place in our new dining area. Simple lines. I have a thing for chairs – and this handmade wrought iron showstopper with stunning leather detail does it for me. It’s furniture as sculpture. What I know for Sure. This little nugget of wisdom lives by my bedside, scribbled in and highlighted. As a huge fan of Oprah Winfrey, her book is quite often a reminder to me of the importance of making our homes a shrine to wellbeing.
